Sunday Mornings
First Sunday of Each Month
Combined Communion Worship
(10:30am - 11:45am)
Join us for a combined
worship gathering celebrating the Sacrament of Holy Communion followed
with a church-wide potluck luncheon.
Second, Third, Fourth, & Fifth Sundays of Each Month
Contemporary Worship
(9:15am
– 10:30am)
“Sing to the LORD a new song…” Psalm 96:1
The Contemporary Worship Service has a slightly less formal style, while
maintaining the distinctive and creative basics of Reformed worship. Music is led predominately by a worship team
with piano and a variety of instruments. Pastor Doug Waltar and a team of church
members lead us in worship. The intention is for all aspects of this gathering to
be interactive.
The Fellowship Gathering
(10:3am – 11am)
“Above all, clothe yourselves with love,
which binds everything together in perfect harmony.” Colossians 3:14
In
between our two worship services we meet together for a time of informal
fellowship. Everyone is welcome for coffee, tea and some delicious snacks. But
best of all, this is a great time for young and old to meet up with other
members of the congregation or meet new friends.
Traditional Worship
(11am
– noon)
“Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of
the LORD…” Psalm 134:1
Join
us in our Traditional Worship Service as we join to worship the Almighty God. We’re led by Pastor Doug Waltar and worship
assistants from the congregation in singing, praying and hearing God’s Word, and responding with offerings and prayers. This service includes choral and handbell choirs, soloists, creeds and classical
liturgies. The organ and grand piano are
utilized as primary instrumentation.
~ Nursery
is provided during both services and the Fellowship Gathering ~
All worship services at Community
Presbyterian Church engage and challenge worshippers to surrender our lives to
Jesus Christ, and to be transformed into God’s healing, forgiving, maturing,
and serving community. While we hold
services of worship on Sunday mornings at the church, we strive to continue
that worship through our words, actions, and service throughout each day in our
community.
