Sunday Morning Gatherings, 9am
A Theology of Worship

The Theology of Worship Class will
tackle questions such as: What is worship? Why do we do it? How do we know when we’re doing the right
thing? Can worship ever be in vain? The group will examine Biblical and
theological foundations of worship, moving beyond the debates over contemporary
vs. traditional worship styles through a deeper engagement with God’s word, our
world, and our tradition. This group
meets in Classroom #1 downstairs.
Discussion Group on the book “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn

investigate what heaven and life there may be like and how that should affect

The Present Word Series

quarterly Bible study series published by the Presbyterian Church (USA). The fall series is titled Covenant
Communities. In this class Old and New
Testament texts will be used to discover how God calls each of us to live and
lead in Covenant Communities. Study
books are provided at no cost. This group

Prayer Group

friends, the local & national church, and the world. If you have specific prayer requests that you

CPC Women’s Book Group
2nd Monday of Each Month, 10am in the

This group is open to all women of the congregation.
